Conclusion

The Internet through the WWW is a valuable resource to the dental professional.  Regardless of location, huge libraries of information can be brought into the home, or office upon demand by the enlightened computer user.  In order to keep pace with the public, dental professionals must include training in the use of the Internet as a part of their "lifelong learning portfolio."
