The following Case Challenge is provided by the
American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology

This case challenge presents a patient with a gingival mass arising from the buccal interdental papilla between teeth #19 and #20.

Case Summary

This 24-year old black female presented with a chief complaint of this gingival mass. (Figure 1)  She states she first noticed the lesion about three months ago and it has gotten progressively larger.  What is your diagnosis?
