About the Authors

Elias Casals Peidró, PhD

Dr. Casals is an Associate Professor of Preventive and Public Dentistry and Coordinator of the Master in Primary Oral Health Care program at the University of Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain where received his PhD in Dentistry. He is the Vice President of the Spanish Association of Epidemiology and Public Oral Health (SESPO).






Tchilalo Boukpessi, DDS

Dr. Boukpessi is an Assistant Professor at Paris 5 Bretonneau Hospital and a PhD student at the University of Paris Descartes in Paris, France. She has a University Certificate of Endodontics. She has authored several publications and given presentations related to dental tissues, caries, and fluoride.





Christina M. McQueen, BS, MBA

Ms. McQueen is a Senior Researcher in Oral Care Product Development at the Procter & Gamble Company in Mason, OH, USA. She has been at P&G for ten years, spending the last five years in Caries Research. She has a BS in Chemistry from the University of Dayton and an MBA from Miami University at Oxford in OH, USA.






Sandy L. Eversole, AAS

Ms. Eversole is a Principal Researcher in the Oral Care Advanced Technology and Innovation Department at the Procter & Gamble Mason Business Center in Mason, OH, USA. She has over 20 years of research experience in Oral Care with a focus in the areas of dental caries and hard tissue research.






Robert V. Faller, BS

Mr. Faller has been with the Procter & Gamble Company for over 27 years and has spent his entire career in Oral Care Research. He is currently a Principal Scientist in the Oral Care Advanced Technology and Innovation Department Development, focusing on caries and enamel related research and is currently P&G’s chief cariologist. He is Editor of Volume 17 – Monographs in Oral Science: Assessment of Oral Health – Diagnostic Techniques and Validation Criteria. He has over 140 publications and published abstracts on fluoride, caries, erosion, and various oral care technologies as well as three patents issued and five patents pending.
